Škoda Auto has unveiled the All-New Elroq. The pure-electric SUV will replace the Karoq from the brand’s model lineup overseas in the near future. Skoda Elroq will be the brand’s second EV underpinned by a born electric platform, with four more pure electric vehicles to be introduced globally by the year 2026.
The Elroq will be the first SUV to feature Škoda’s New Modern Solid design language. Notable elements include a more rugged front fascia (dubbed Tech Deck), big skid plates up front and towards the rear, flared wheel arches alongside a raised, rugged off-roader profile.
Powering the Skoda Elroq will most likely be a 77 kWh battery pack, offering a range of around 480 kms on a single full charge. The Czech automaker is also expected to introduce a larger 86 kWh battery next year in its EVs. The Enyaq iV will receive it first, followed by the Elroq. This will increase the electric SUVs range to nearly 600 kms.
The brand is expected to offer the Elroq in both single and dual-electric motor setups alongside varying peak power outputs. The most powerful variant is expected to make around 300 bhp as it would be featuring the brand's vRS performance nameplate.

The Elroq will be Škoda’s entrant to the rapidly growing global electric compact SUV segment. It will rival the likes of the Mini Aceman, Ford Explorer EV, and the Jeep Avenger.
As mentioned earlier, there will be 4 new pure electric vehicles following the Elroq. This includes the launch of the facelifted Enyaq iV SUV, a coupe in 2024 and a compact crossover by 2025. In 2026, Škoda will unveil an electric estate and the production version of the Vision 7S MPV Concept.
