Tata Punch facelift 2026 is set to bring a more polished and refined look to one of Tata’s best-selling sub-4-meter SUVs. Recent spy shots from Munnar, Kerala, show the test mules on the road, hinting at several updates inside and out.

The new Tata Punch will feature a refreshed front grille with a more refined lower grille and horizontal slats. The lighting setup is expected to get a triangular design, similar to Tata Nexon and Harrier. The side profile will mostly stay the same, though new alloy wheels may be introduced.
At the rear, the Tata Punch facelift could get updated tail lamps, boot lid, and bumper. Top variants may feature connected tail lamps for a sportier look. Signature elements like squared wheel arches, blacked-out pillars, body cladding, roof rails, shark-fin antenna, and a tapering roofline will be retained.
The 2026 Tata Punch CNG will continue with the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine. The petrol version delivers 87.8 PS and 115 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. On CNG, the output drops to 73.5 PS and 103 Nm, and it comes only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
A notable feature of the Tata Punch iCNG facelift is its dual tank setup, which addresses boot space concerns often seen in CNG cars.

Inside, the new Punch gets a large touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel may feature an illuminated logo, as seen on other Tata SUVs. Premium features like front ventilated seats and blind spot monitoring could be offered on select variants.
Safety is expected to improve with 6 airbags standard across all variants. Other carried-over features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice-assisted electric sunroof, fast USB charger, rear AC vents, engine start/stop, wireless charging, and leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob. A 360° view camera could also be part of the upgrade package.
The Tata Punch facelift 2026 could be priced slightly higher than the current model. The petrol Punch starts at Rs 5.49 lakh, while the Punch CNG is priced at Rs 6.68 lakh. Its main rivals include the Hyundai Exter and Maruti Fronx.
