Tata Sierra EV Set to Debut on June 30

Tata Sierra EV to debut on June 30, 2026. Offers up to 500 km electric range and AWD options. Features triple screens, panoramic sunroof and ADAS.

Tata Sierra EV is just weeks away from its official debut. The production version will officially debut on June 30, 2026, with its market launch expected a few weeks later. The new Sierra EV brings a fresh design, advanced technology and multiple battery options.

Classic Look Meets Modern EV Design

The Sierra EV keeps the upright shape and wraparound rear glass that made the original Sierra stand out. At the same time, it adds modern touches like a closed-off front grille and connected LED light bars at the front and back. The result is a mix of retro style and futuristic design.

Up to 500 KM Electric Range

The Sierra EV is expected to use Tata’s Gen2 Acti.EV platform. It may come with 55 kWh and 65 kWh batteries, giving a claimed range of up to 500 km on a single charge. The SUV is also likely to offer Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) versions, giving buyers more options.

Advanced Cabin With Triple Screens

Inside, the Sierra EV could feature a triple-screen setup; one for the driver, one for infotainment, and one for the front passenger.

Other expected features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a premium connected car experience.

Safety and V2L Tech

The SUV may come with Level-2 ADAS, which could include lane assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. It is also expected to have Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality to power small devices directly from the battery.

Pricing and Rivals

The Sierra EV is likely to be priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with other mid-size electric SUVs like the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti e Vitara, and Mahindra BE 6.
