Tata Harrier EV to debut on June 3 with 500km+ range and AWD setup Mercedes and MG bring India-specific luxury and electric models this June June 2025 packed with major launches—from electric sports cars to flagship MPVs
The Indian auto market is gearing up for a thrilling June 2025 with several highly anticipated car launches from top manufacturers like Tata Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and MG. From high-performance SUVs to futuristic EVs, this month is set to bring something for every enthusiast.
Check out the list of upcoming cars!

Tata Motors will finally launch the much-awaited Harrier EV on June 3, marking its debut as the brand’s flagship electric SUV. After showcasing the production-ready model at the Auto Expo 2025, Tata has confirmed that the Harrier EV will arrive with design tweaks like a sealed grille, sleek connected LED DRLs, sharper tail-lights, and special aero alloy wheels to distinguish it from the ICE model.
Inside, the Harrier EV shares many elements with the regular Harrier, including the 12.3-inch infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, and panoramic sunroof. New EV-specific features include connected car tech, over-the-air updates, and advanced terrain modes. Built on Tata's new Acti.ev platform, it will come with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 500Nm of torque and offering over 500km of real-world range, as per Tata’s internal C75 test cycle.

On June 12, Mercedes-Benz will launch the India-exclusive AMG G63 Collector’s Edition. This bespoke version of the luxury SUV comes with design and upholstery inspired by Indian cultural themes, developed in collaboration with the brand’s Indian R&D team.
While mechanically identical to the standard G63, featuring a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid setup with 585hp and 850Nm of torque, the Collector’s Edition will stand out for its unique styling and expected premium pricing over the standard G63, which is currently priced at Rs 3.64 crore (ex-showroom).

Later in the month, Mercedes will add two more high-performance vehicles to its lineup with the launch of the second-generation AMG GT 63 and GT 63 Pro on June 27. These 2+2 grand tourers come with a host of upgrades including improved practicality, advanced cabin tech, and massive power outputs.
Both variants are powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine mated to a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. While the GT 63 makes 585hp and 800Nm, the Pro version bumps it up to 612hp and 850Nm. Both variants claim a 0-100kmph time of just 3.2 seconds and top speeds exceeding 315kmph. Expect pricing north of Rs 3 crore, targeting rivals like the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS.

MG Motor India is set to make headlines with the launch of the Cyberster electric sports car before the end of June. Although a final date is pending, the model will debut as India’s most affordable electric sports car, with an expected price tag of around Rs 60 lakh.
Powered by a 77kWh battery and dual-motor AWD setup, the MG Cyberster generates 510bhp and 725Nm, allowing it to sprint from 0-100kmph in just 3.2 seconds. It offers a range of up to 580km (CLTC) and is loaded with high-end features like scissor doors, dual-zone climate control, ventilated and memory seats, Level 2 ADAS, Bose sound system, and wireless smartphone connectivity.

MG is also planning to launch the M9 luxury electric MPV in India this month. A rebadged version of the Maxus Mifa 9 sold globally, the M9 will arrive via the CKD route and is expected to be priced around Rs 70 lakh.
The upcoming MG M9 will compete with premium MPVs like the Toyota Vellfire, offering a boxy silhouette, 19-inch alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lamps. Inside, it boasts a tech-laden cabin with dual sunroofs, ventilated massaging seats, dual digital displays, and a 3-zone climate control system. The internationally sold version uses a 90kWh battery paired with a 244PS motor and delivers a WLTP-claimed range of over 400km.
