Mahindra is ready to make a big impact in India’s SUV market. Over the next two years, the homegrown brand will introduce a powerful lineup of new models, facelifts, and EVs. From the popular Scorpio and XUV range to the futuristic BE and XEV series, the upcoming Mahindra SUVs will bring exciting designs, advanced technology, and electric performance to the forefront.
Here’s a complete list of the top 9 Mahindra SUVs launching between 2026 and 2027.
The XUV700, one of India’s most successful premium SUVs, is getting a major update. The facelift brings a revised front fascia with a new grille, LED headlamps, and C-shaped DRLs, along with a triple-screen dashboard; infotainment, instrument panel, and co-occupant entertainment screen.
Other upgrades include Harman/Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos, auto-dimming IRVM, front parking sensors, ADAS Level 2+, and self-parking features. Engine options will continue to be 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel, with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. A six-seater variant with captain seats is also expected.

Based on the XUV.e8 concept, the XEV 7e is a 7-seater electric SUV sharing many components with the XUV700. Expected to launch in Q1 2026, it will offer 59kWh or 79kWh batteries with a dual-motor AWD version. Features include a triple-screen dashboard, Harman/Kardon sound system, and Level 2 ADAS. This will be a strong contender in the premium electric SUV segment.
The BE Rall-E is an off-road-focused electric SUV based on the BE 6. Recently spotted testing in Chennai, it features a heavily-cladded front bumper, round headlights, a sporty rear bumper, and C-shaped taillights. Powered by a dual-motor setup with a large battery, it delivers 389bhp and 480Nm torque, making it perfect for adventure enthusiasts.
The XUV3XO EV is an entry-level electric SUV designed to rival the Tata Nexon EV. Launching in Q1 2026, it will feature a 35kWh battery with a 400km range. Cosmetic updates include an EV-specific grille and aero-optimised wheels, along with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS.
Mahindra Thar.e is the all-electric version of the iconic Thar, expected to launch by mid-2026. Built on the INGLO EV platform, it keeps the Thar’s rugged, off-road look while adding modern tech features like a large infotainment screen. It may also come with a new monocoque chassis. With a dual-motor AWD option and a range of 400-500 km, the Thar.e is expected to be priced between Rs 20-25 lakh, making it an exciting choice for adventure enthusiasts.
Mahindra is expanding the Scorpio family with a compact SUV under 4 meters, likely called the Scorpio Sport. Inspired by the Vision S concept, it will feature rugged styling, independent rear suspension, and strong engine options. It is designed to compete with rivals like the Tata Nexon and Maruti Brezza.
The Scorpio N facelift will bring a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats for both rows, multi-zone climate control, larger screens, and ADAS features. The facelift aims to make the Scorpio N even more feature-packed and comfort-oriented while retaining its rugged appeal.
The Scorpio Pik-Up Single Cab brings back Mahindra’s pickup legacy. Built on the Scorpio N platform, it comes with a strong chassis, powerful diesel engine, and a comfortable cabin, making it perfect for work and heavy-duty use.
The Dual Cab Scorpio Pik-Up is designed for lifestyle buyers, offering both utility and comfort. It has a dual-row cabin, modern interiors, and a stylish design, making it a more affordable and adventure-ready alternative to the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross.
