Toyota Kirloskar Motors has quietly hiked the prices of its car and SUV models. These include the names of Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Camry, Glanza, and the Innova Hycross. While the brand has not given any reasoning for the price increase, we believe it could be due to rising import costs. Prices for the Toyota Fortuner, Innova Crysta, Vellfire, and Hilux remain unchanged.
A result of this, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has received a price increase of Rs 2,000 to Rs 60,000. The entry-level S hybrid variant gets the maximum hike while the other hybrid trim’s prices have gone up by Rs 25,000.
The Japanese automaker has also ended the introductory prices for the Hyryder’s petrol variants. The base E trim is now dearer by Rs 25,000. The mid-level S trim has received a price hike of Rs 20,000 while the G and V grades get a minimal Rs 2,000 increase.
Prices for the 2023 Urban Cruiser Hyryder now range from Rs 10.73 lakh to Rs 19.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
The brand has given the Innova Hycross another price hike this year. The new increase in prices affects the VX, VX(O), ZX and ZX(O) hybrid variants which are now expensive by Rs 27,000. The company had already increased prices of the Hycross earlier in March this year by Rs 75,000.
With this update, the premium MPV is now priced between Rs 18.55 lakh to Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The manufacturer has also increased prices of the Glanza premium hatchback and Camry premium sedan. Prices for the Glanza have gone up by Rs 5,000 across the range. Its new price starts from Rs 6.71 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
As for the Toyota Camry, it is now priced at Rs 45.71 lakh (ex-showroom), receiving a Rs 46,000 price hike.
MG Hector petrol variants now E20 fuel compatible; 2025 model launched with no price hike, meeting new emission norms and supporting sustainable mobility.
