Toyota achieves 3 lakh hybrid vehicles sales in India Toyota sells Hyryder, Innova Hycross, Camry Hybrid and Vellfire

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has achieved a significant milestone in its electrification/multipath way journey with the cumulative sales of 3 lakh hybrid vehicles in India. This achievement marks a major step forward in advancing sustainable mobility and reinforcing customer trust in hybrid technology.

This milestone reflects the growing acceptance of self-charging hybrid electric vehicle technology among Indian customers. It also reaffirms strong customer confidence in the Toyota brand and highlights the company’s commitment to delivering green mobility solutions through a multi-pathway approach. The Japanese automaker offers an extensive hybrid vehicle portfolio including models such as the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, Camry Hybrid and Vellfire. Toyota is also offering 8-year hybrid battery warranty.

Toyota’s hybrid tech comprising a petrol engine and an advanced electric motor, working together to deliver enhanced performance and efficiency. The system automatically switches between and combines both power sources. The self-charging capability ensures that the battery is automatically charged through regenerative braking and engine power.
