When compared to its sibling, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder comes at a premium of Rs 3,000 to Rs 50,000 in the mild hybrid manual variant, while being more expensive by Rs 8000 to Rs 50,000 for the mild hybrid automatic trims. In the strong hybrid department, Toyota’s SUV is cheaper by Rs 50,000 variant to variant as compared to the Grand Vitara, along with offering an extra lower trim in its line-up.
The difference is quite clear as Maruti Suzuki takes away the advantage in the mild-hybrid variant, while Toyota undercuts in the strong hybrid trims.
