Aston Martin Vanquish coming to India on March 22, 2025. Restricted to 1,000 units a year, at a expected price of Rs 5.5 crore (ex-showroom). Tata Curvv Dark Edition too hitting showrooms on March 22, 2025
Two thrilling vehicles are ready to make their entry on March 22, 2025. The Tata Curvv Dark Edition and the Aston Martin Vanquish are both causing ripples in the auto industry. Both vehicles bring performance, style, and technology to the Indian market. Let us learn more about what awaits these two launchings.
Aston Martin will introduce Vanquish in India on March 22, 2025 with limited production. This follows the global roll-out of the car last year. Vanquish is a high-performance sports car powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 824 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The engine is accompanied by an eight-speed auto transmission, which is rear-wheel-driven. The Vanquish has a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 345 km/h.
Aston Martin will produce only 1,000 units of the Vanquish annually. But the production units to be released in India have not been decided yet. The vehicle features an aggressive design with a striking grille, Matrix LED headlights, and a dynamic splitter at the front. Side is revealed with bodywork sculpted from carbon and 21-inch forged alloy wheels with high-spec Pirelli P Zero tyres. The exhaust is a stainless steel four-tailpipe item, and a dramatic diffuser with LED light blades adorns the rear.
On the inside, the Vanquish is a premium and contemporary affair. The interior boasts a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and infotainment, as well as 16-way Alcantara- and semi-aniline leather-covered power seats. Optional wood grain trim and 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins stereo are offered, too. Underpinning it is a platform that is dedicated to performance, with sublime agility and stability.
The Vanquish also features cutting-edge handling technology like adaptive dampers and an electronic stability control system. There is a carbon ceramic braking system for improved stopping power. The Vanquish will probably be priced around Rs 5.5 crore (ex-showroom) in India.
Tata Motors will also launch Curvv Dark Edition on March 22, 2025. Curvv Dark Edition is the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) official car and Tata is its associate sponsor. Curvv Dark Edition is a result of the success of Dark Edition versions of other Tata vehicles, like Nexon, Harrier, and Safari.
The Curvv Dark Edition will come with two engine trims. The first is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit churning out 125 hp and 225 Nm of torque. The second is a 1.5-litre diesel unit, which churns out 118 hp and 260 Nm of torque. Both the engines will get the choice of two transmissions: a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The Curvv Dark Edition will be of premium grade compared to the Accomplished trim and will incorporate some of the luxury features. These include 6 airbags, a 12.3-inch screen, a 9-speaker audio, and a panoramic sunroof. There will be other features of luxury including ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, and a gesture-controlled tailgate. The car will also include an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) package for safety.
The petrol variant of the Curvv Dark Edition will be from Rs 16.5 lakh to Rs 19.5 lakh. The diesel option will be just a bit pricier, between Rs 16.8 lakh and Rs 19.6 lakh. The prices will be slightly higher than the regular Curvv as the Dark Edition comes with additional features and styling.
