Hyundai India is preparing a strong lineup of upcoming cars for the next two years. The company has already confirmed plans to launch 26 new models by 2030, including 20 internal combustion engine (ICE) cars and six electric vehicles (EVs).
SUVs will remain the brand’s main focus, while Hyundai is also investing in charging infrastructure and localisation of EV components to make its electric models more affordable.
Here is a list of upcoming Hyundai cars, including EVs, hybrids, SUVs and more.
Hyundai Venue 2025 facelift is expected to be launched around the festive season of this year. Expected to launch on October 24, the new Venue 2025 will feature updated exterior styling, a more premium cabin, and modern technology. Additionally, the Hyundai Venue 2025 interior leaked details suggest a new dual-screen setup and advanced safety features, including Level 2 ADAS.
As for the engine options, Hyundai will continue offering the new Venue with its current engine options. These include the 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel, paired with both manual and automatic gearboxes. An electric version of the Venue is also said to be in development, which could join the lineup later.

Hyundai Verna facelift is also lined up for the 2025-end and will go on sale as the 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift. The sedan will receive revised styling with redesigned headlamps, tail lamps, and bumpers, along with an updated front grille. Inside, the Verna will gain a larger infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, and feature upgrades to make the cabin more premium.
Mechanically, the Verna facelift will continue with its existing engine lineup, which includes the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines, along with manual, CVT, and DCT transmission choices. With these updates, the Verna will remain a strong rival to the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
Hyundai Tucson 2025 has already been revealed in international markets and is expected to arrive in India soon. The SUV comes with a redesigned grille, reshaped skid plates, revised lighting signatures, and new alloy wheels. Inside, the Tucson gets a modern cabin layout with a curved digital display and an updated dashboard. Once launched, it will continue to be one of Hyundai’s flagship premium SUVs in India.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift will debut in September 2025 with sharper styling and a sportier design. It will continue to offer an impressive ARAI-certified range of 515 km. The facelift will be priced higher than the current Ioniq 5, which costs around Rs 46 lakh. Hyundai is also working on the Ioniq 9, a new flagship electric SUV that will focus on premium features and long driving range.

In 2026, Hyundai will introduce the Bayon crossover in India. It will be positioned between the Exter and the Venue in Hyundai’s lineup. Built on the i20 platform, the Bayon will rival the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and will receive design changes tailored for India. The crossover is expected to come with advanced features such as a digital driver’s display, a large infotainment screen, premium audio, and ADAS technology.
Hyundai will also bring the Inster EV, a compact electric SUV under four metres. This model will rival the Tata Punch EV and will be manufactured locally at Hyundai’s Sriperumbudur factory. The global-spec model offers two battery pack options with a maximum range of 355 km, and the India version is expected to offer similar specifications. Features like a touchscreen unit, digital cluster, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and ADAS are also expected.
The brand is preparing to introduce hybrid technology in India by 2027. The first models will be the next-generation Hyundai Creta with a hybrid system and a new three-row SUV positioned between the Alcazar and Tucson. The company is also evaluating several new models for the Indian market, including an electric version of the i10 hatchback, a refreshed Creta Electric, the large Hyundai Palisade SUV, and updated versions of the Hyundai Alcazar with hybrid technology.

Along with these new models, Hyundai is also planning to launch its global luxury brand Genesis in India. The confirmation came through Hyundai’s FY 2024–25 Annual Report, which highlighted India as a key market for the brand. Genesis will operate independently from Hyundai and will focus on a premium customer experience through digital-first sales and curated events.
Initially, Genesis will launch its popular global models like the G80 luxury sedan and GV80 premium SUV as completely built units. Later, the local assembly could make Genesis cars more affordable. SUVs such as the GV70 and GV60 EV are also under consideration for India. With this move, Hyundai will directly compete with German luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi in the growing Indian luxury car market.
