Kia India is gearing up to launch the Carens facelift in April 2025, featuring a premium upgrade and a fresh new name. This revamped MPV will borrow some features from the Kia Syros subcompact SUV while being sold alongside the pre-facelift version.
With its debut just around the corner, here is everything one should know about the upcoming Kia Carens.

The facelift version of Kia Carens will receive an updated front fascia. It will feature new headlights, revised LED DRLs, and a redesigned front bumper. While its overall silhouette will remain unchanged, the MPV is expected to get fresh alloy wheels and updated LED tail lights with an illuminated centre strip.
Apart from the exterior, the 2025 Kia Carens will also get a significant interior update. The new Carens will offer redesigned AC vents, a refreshed center console, and possibly new seat upholstery. However, it is expected to retain the same 3-spoke steering wheel. Like the current model, the updated Carens will likely be available in both 6- and 7-seater configurations.
The 2025 Kia Carens is expected to retain key features from the current model, such as ventilated front seats and a wireless phone charger, while introducing upgrades like dual 12.3-inch displays from the Kia Syros and a panoramic sunroof. The 6-seater variant may also come with rear ventilated seats for added comfort.
In terms of safety, the MPV will likely include six airbags as standard, electronic stability control (ESC), and front and rear parking sensors. Spotted test mules also suggest the addition of a 360-degree camera and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Kia is not expected to introduce any powertrain revisions in the 2025 Carens facelift. It will likely continue with the same engine and transmission options as the current model.

The 2025 Kia Carens is expected to come with a slight price hike compared to the current model, which is priced between Rs 10.60 lakh and Rs 19.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia Carens facelift will launch this month. The accurate launch date is yet to be announced. Upon launch, it will continue to be a premium rival to the Maruti Ertiga, XL6, and Toyota Rumion, while also positioning itself as a more affordable alternative to the Toyota Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, and Maruti Invicto.
