Tata Motors is getting ready to launch the 2025 Tata Punch facelift, bringing a host of exciting changes to its popular micro-SUV. With new design changes, added features, and improved technology, this facelift will impress many before the year ends.
Here’s everything you need to know about the new Tata Punch facelift 2025, including its launch date, price, and key upgrades.
The 2025 Tata Punch facelift will bring several design updates, particularly to the front of the vehicle. Spy images show that the Tata Punch facelift will feature a new front grille inspired by the Tata Nexon, along with a reworked bumper and a restyled headlamp setup. These changes give the Punch a more aggressive and contemporary look while maintaining its signature compact SUV stance. The side profile will remain largely unchanged, but Tata has updated the alloy wheels, adding a fresh touch to the vehicle’s appearance.
At the rear, the Tata Punch facelift will sport new LED tail-lamps, which are inspired by the Tata Altroz hatchback. The redesigned tailgate will complement the new tail-lamps, offering a more cohesive and modern look. Additionally, Tata has added rear parking sensors and a 360-degree surround view camera, which will improve the vehicle’s safety features.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Tata Punch facelift will see significant upgrades, borrowing features from Tata's premium models like the Altroz and Nexon. One of the most noticeable changes will be the new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. This design is already seen in the latest models like the Altroz and Nexon, and it adds a modern touch to the Punch.
In terms of technology, the Tata Punch facelift will likely get a larger, free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. This upgrade will make the Punch more user-friendly, providing seamless smartphone integration.
Other features expected to be included are ventilated front seats, an 8-speaker audio system, and 6 airbags as standard. Additionally, the cabin will receive updates to the instrument console and climate control panel, giving the interior a more premium feel.
Under the hood, the 2025 Tata Punch facelift will retain the same engine options as the current model, which includes the 1.2L, 3-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces 87bhp and 115Nm of torque. The CNG version of the Punch will continue to use twin-cylinder technology, delivering 73.5bhp and 103Nm of torque.
The transmission options for the 2025 Tata Punch facelift will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). However, no major mechanical changes are expected, meaning the Punch will continue to offer the same driving dynamics.
The 2025 Tata Punch facelift is expected to be priced between Rs 6.00 Lakhs to Rs 11.00 Lakhs (ex-showroom), depending on the variant and features. This price range positions the facelifted Punch competitively in the micro-SUV segment, offering a value-for-money package with modern design and upgraded features.
The official launch of the 2025 Tata Punch facelift is expected to take place in November 2025, marking it as one of the key Tata 2025 car launches. As part of the upcoming SUVs in India for Diwali 2025, the Punch facelift is set to generate a lot of buzz in the Indian automotive market.
