2026 Honda ZR-V introduced in Japan Only the hybrid version will be on sale
It is no secret that Honda is planning to introduce some of its global cars in India as CBUs. If media reports are to be believed, the Japanese automaker will introduce the ZR-V hybrid SUV and Prelude Sports Coupe in our market in 2026. In fact, the Honda ZR-V has already been showcased to authorised dealers. Ahead of the official announcement, Honda has revealed the lightly facelifted ZR-V in Japan.
The 2026 Honda ZR-V hybrid is available in 3 trim levels, and the base-spec Z has received new 18-inch alloy wheels. Honda has also added new colour choices, including Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Metroid Grey Metallic, and Seabed Blue Pearl.

The Z Black Style variant comes with a newly styled honeycomb grille. The wheel arch cladding, side sills and lower section of the bumpers are now finished in gloss black. It gets the dark finished 18-inch alloy wheels. The top-spec Z Cross Touring variant comes with an aggressive front bumper that houses faux skid plates. Wheel arch cladding, air intake, side sills and alloy wheels are finished in matte black. Honda has added new protection strips on the lower section of the doors. It gets a dark beige interior scheme with contrasting orange stitching.
Inside the cabin, the SUV gets the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that features the latest Google integration with built-in Google Maps, voice assistant and App Store. It is packed with a 10.2-inch digital driver’s display, leatherette seats with heating and ventilation function, and a 360-degree surround view camera.
The 2026 Honda ZR-V is only available with a 2.0-litre hybrid powertrain that produces 181bhp and 315Nm of torque. It is available in both front- and all-wheel drive options. The SUV will go on sale in Japan in late March.
