2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift to get sleeker grille & new headlamps Interior upgrades include refreshed trims & infotainment Performance & safety include 1.0L/1.5L TSI engines with ADAS
The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is currently being tested on Indian roads ahead of its expected launch in late 2025 or early 2026. Since its debut in 2021, the Kushaq has been a strong performer for Skoda in the mid-size SUV segment. Along with Kushaq, Skoda’s Slavia sedan and VW Taigun are also due for updates soon.
The refreshed Kushaq will continue to challenge popular rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Escudo, and Renault Duster.
Here is everything we know so far about the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift:
The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift focuses on subtle styling upgrades. Up front, the SUV is expected to feature a slimmer grille with horizontal slats, updated headlamps with connected LED daytime running lights, and new fog lamp housings. At the rear, connected tail-lamps inspired by the Kodiaq, redesigned bumpers, and new alloy wheels are likely. The overall body shape remains the same, but the updates give the SUV a more modern and premium look.
Official images of the cabin are yet to be released, but the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected to get refreshed seat upholstery and new trims. The infotainment system may be upgraded with a larger touchscreen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, improving connectivity for passengers.
The facelifted Kushaq could bring Level-2 ADAS features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, and traffic sign recognition. Features like a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, two-spoke steering wheel, and auto-dimming IRVM are likely to stay.
Skoda has not confirmed the sunroof details yet. The top-end model might get a panoramic sunroof, while mid-level variants may offer a single-pane sunroof, enhancing the cabin experience.
The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected to continue with existing engines. The 1.0-litre TSI petrol produces 115hp and 178Nm of torque with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic. The 1.5-litre TSI petrol delivers 150hp and 250Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic, and may also get a manual option.
