The long-awaited new-gen Kia Seltos SUV will finally launch in our market on January 2, 2026. Ahead of the launch, Kia has revealed all the variant-wise details, engine specifications and colours on offer. Interested customers can book the new Seltos online or at authorised Kia dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. Deliveries are expected to commence in the first week of January 2026.
| Model | Expected Price |
| HTE | 10.99 lakh |
| GTX (A) | 20-21 lakh |
Seeing the growing competition, Kia is likely to price the new Seltos competitively. It is expected that the new Seltos will receive a marginal hike in price, and the base variant could carry the same price tag as the older model. The 2026 Kia Seltos base HTE variant is expected to be priced around Rs 10.99 lakh, which is Rs 20,000 higher than the older base. The top-spec model could go up to Rs 20-21 lakh, ex-showroom.
The new Kia Seltos will directly rival the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Honda Elevate, Maruti Victoris, and others.
The new Seltos is available with 3 engine choices, including a 1.5L NA petrol, a 1.5L turbo petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel. The NA engine produces 113bhp and 144Nm, and is paired to either a 6-speed manual and an IVT. Its turbo petrol unit is good for 158bhp and 253Nm, and is available with a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT. The diesel engine is capable of producing 114bhp and 250Nm. It is paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
