Mahindra is known for making tough SUVs, which is evident from the crash test ratings of various agencies. The company’s latest SUVs, including the XEV 9e, Thar Roxx, XUV 3XO have received 5-star safety ratings in BNCAP crash tests. In this article, we bring you the detailed test results of Mahindra SUVs conducted by Bharat NCAP.

Adult Occupant Protection Test - the Mahindra XEV 9e is the safest SUV in India, as it secured full 5 star crash test rating for both adult and child occupant protection test conducted by BNCAP. The SUV has received 32 points out of maximum 32 in adult occupant protection.
It scored full 16 out of maximum 16 points in frontal offset and side movable deformable barrier test. The SUV offers good protection to driver and co-driver’s neck, chest and legs during crash test.

Child Occupant Protection Test - the electric SUV Coupe scored 45 points out of 49 in child occupant protection test. The SUV has a dynamic score of 24 out of maximum 24 points, and CRS installation score of 12 points out of maximum 12. It scored 9 points out of 13 points in Vehicle assessment score. The SUV offers good protection for both 18 month and 3 years old child.
