Mahindra XEV 9S is all set to make its India debut tomorrow, November 27, 2025, at Mahindra’s Scream Electric event in Bengaluru. This new model will be the brand’s first 7-seater electric SUV and is built on the dedicated INGLO platform. Designed as the electric version of the XUV700, the Mahindra XEV 9S electric SUV aims to bring modern technology, premium features and strong performance at an expected price under Rs 30 lakh.

With multiple teasers already out, excitement around the Mahindra XEV 9S launch date is at its peak. Here are seven major highlights:
The official unveiling happens tomorrow, making the XEV 9S one of the most-awaited EV launches of the year. It will also be India’s first mainstream 7-seater electric SUV.
The XEV 9S is built as the all-electric counterpart to the XUV700. Instead of a petrol or diesel engine, it uses Mahindra’s INGLO EV platform for smoother, silent and more efficient performance.
The company has not confirmed the Mahindra XEV 9S price yet, but it is expected to fall under Rs 30 lakh, offering strong value in the premium EV category.
Teasers highlight a large boot with flexible seating. With the third row folded, the cargo space becomes huge. The usable frunk adds extra storage, something rare in this segment.
One of the biggest highlights is the presence of Mahindra XEV 9S rear screens. Teasers show a match streaming on the main infotainment display and another screen for the co-driver. The second row gets BYOD support for seamless multimedia pairing.
The SUV offers an openable panoramic sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, memory function, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control and a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby support.
The Mahindra XEV 9S is expected to deliver more than 500 km of real-world driving range. A dual-motor AWD variant may also be offered for better traction and performance.
