Maruti Suzuki India has launched an updated model of its van, the Eeco with a more powerful engine and improved fuel efficiency. As the highest-selling van in the country, Maruti Suzuki Eeco has been dominating the segment consistently over the years. Even after building its success, Maruti Suzuki innovatively engineered and developed the new Eeco as a dual-purpose vehicle to match the evolving requirements of its customers. For buyers that are seeking a comfortable and spacious car for the family or entrepreneurs who expect flexible interior space, the 2022 Eeco is going to meet all the demands of the seekers. The new model gets the latest technology, features, and updated interiors which are surely going to make the owners proud.
The most notable update on the Maruti Suzuki Eeco is the new 1.2-litre advanced K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that is fuel efficient and more powerful than before. The new engine in the Eeco delivers a 10% more power output of 59.4 kW and a torque output of 104.4 Nm (for petrol variants). The petrol variant of the four-wheeler is 25% more fuel efficient delivering up to 20.20 km/l while the S-CNG variant boasts a 29% higher fuel efficiency delivering up to 27.05 km/kg.
In terms of comfort, the 2022 Eeco is designed to provide a perfect blend of utility and comfort. The interior aesthetics of the model have been improved to offer a more engaging drive feel. Additionally, the new Eeco features reclining front seats, driver-focused controls, a dome lamp with new battery-saver function, a cabin air filter (in AC variants) and more.
Maruti has also taken a big leap in terms of safety with the new model. The vehicle now comes equipped with an illuminated hazard switch, engine immobiliser, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, dual airbags, child lock for sliding doors and windows and other standard safety features to ensure a safe drive.
In terms of styling, the new Maruti Suzuki Eeco features a new Metallic Brisk Blue body colour, a new steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster and rotary control for the heater and AC.

The new Eeco is available in 4 variants with the petrol engine option: Eeco 5-Seater Standard (Rs 5.13 lakh), Eeco 5-Seater AC (Rs 5.49 lakh), and Eeco 7-Seater (Rs. 5.42 lakh). While the CNG powertrain is only available on the 5-Seater AC variant priced at Rs 6.44 lakh. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom.
