MG ZS EV Facelift price starts at Rs 22 Lakhs in India. Comes with cosmetic updates and added features.
MG Motor India have launched the updated version of their electric SUV, the ZS EV between the price range of Rs 22 lakhs - Rs 25.88 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India. Introduced for the first time back in 2019, the ZS EV was one of the first electric vehicles to be brought into the Indian market by the British Marquee. In comparison to the pre-facelift model, the upgraded version provides cosmetic updates on the outside while the interior gets quite a few added features.
MG ZS EV Facelift Variant Wise Prices in India
2022 MG ZS EV Facelift comes in two variants namely EXCITE and EXCLUSIVE. Detailed pricing of the electric SUV is given below as reference.
MG ZS EV Facelift Exterior Updates:
2022 MG ZS EV Facelift offers quite a few changes when it comes to its exterior design. Its redesigned front fascia provides a front covered grill with the charging socket placed to the left hand side of the MG logo. Other bits include a revised front bumper, LED headlamps with DRL’s, new set of 17-inch alloy wheels and a new set of tail lights.
MG ZS EV Facelift Interior Added Features:
The interior of the MG ZS EV Facelift comes equipped with leather upholstery. It now gets a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system instead of the 8-inch unit available before. The analogue instrument cluster gives way to a new 7-inch digital display. Creature comforts like rear pockets for the front seats, A/C vents for rear passengers, cupholders placed in the rear center arm can be found on board this electric SUV. Other added features included a 360-degree camera, blind spot detection, lane change assist and rear cross traffic alert. Some of the other equipment list consists of upgraded i-Smart connected car technology, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, digital Bluetooth key, Hill Descent Control, six airbags and more.
2022 MG ZS EV Facelift Battery Pack and Electric Range:
Unlike its predecessor, the 2022 MG ZS EV Facelift now comes fitted with a bigger 50.3kWh battery pack that offers a new electric range of 461 kilometres on a single charge. The electric range stated by the company is ICAT certified. When compared to the earlier range, it has gone up by 42 kilometers under ideal driving conditions. That said, the real time number can only be determined once we get to sample the vehicle which will be in due course time. As for the electric motor, it is front mounted and now produces 176 bhp of power output with 353 Nm of peak torque. Talking of only bhp, then you get 33 horses more in comparison to the older version of this SUV. Performance figures state, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 – 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds.
2022 MG ZS EV Facelift Delivery Date:
According to MG Motor India deliveries for the ZS EV Facelift EXCLUSIVE variant will start immediately. While for the EXCITE trim customers will have to wait until July 2022 to get their new vehicle.
