Next-Gen MG Hector coming soon; Features India’s largest 14-inch touchscreen infotainment unit; Launch around the festive season.
MG Motor India recently shared the teaser of its upcoming Hector Facelift. The teased image confirms that the SUV will get a segment leading 14-inch portrait infotainment unit. Spied multiple times during test runs, the facelift is expected to make a market debut by the festive season.
Termed as India’s largest Infotainment system, the 14-inch HD Portrait unit in the upcoming Hector Facelift will feature a new slick and easy-to-use interface. Despite growing in size, the bezels on the new display appear to be larger than the outgoing model and get haptic buttons placed on the lower panel. As per the carmaker, the interior of the Next-Gen Hector is conceptualized as ‘Symphony of Luxury’, offering a cinematic and immersive experience.

The teaser also reveals a new design for the air-con vents with silver accents placed on both sides of the new display. Below the display, there is a storage compartment which gets a metallic silver finish which will most likely serve as the wireless smartphone charging pad. Digging further into the teaser image, we can find a new black soft touch finish on the dashboard along with black stitching on its upper part.

MG will launch the Hector Facelift around the festive season. According to media reports, the upgrades to the vehicle are expected to make it dearer by Rs 2 to Rs 3 lakh depending upon the variant selected. The MG Hector rivals the likes of Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV 700, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos along with the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara in its segment.
