Renault is all set to launch the Duster SUV for the Indian market. Its extended version - the Dacia Bigster was unveiled globally in October 2024, while the India-spec model will arrive in 2025. It is important to note that the international model was revealed in a 5-seater version, but Renault might introduce the Bigster in a 7-seater layout.
After witnessing the global debut of the Bigster SUV, we have already set our eyes on the design and features of the Indian Duster SUV. The 7-seater Renault Bigster will feature sleek LED headlights with Y-shaped elements, a sliver skid plate, and fog lights located beside the bumper. The SUV will run on 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and will have hexagonal wheel arches. The rear door handles will be placed on the C-pillar. Its black body cladding makes the SUV tough from the outside. Other exterior design elements include V-shaped LED tail lights, a chunky bumper, and an integrated rear spoiler.
India-spec Renault Bigster will get a dual-tone Grey and Black interior theme with sustainable materials used in the cabin. The dashboard carries a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment and a 10-inch digital driver's display. Besides, the 7-seater SUV will offer a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, and an electrically adjustable driver's seat with manual lumbar support.
Renault Bigster 7-seater SUV will come with multiple airbags and a rear parking camera. It will also have an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which comprises many features including Adaptive Cruise Control and Automatic Emergency Braking.
The global model is available with multiple engine options. For the Indian version, Renault could offer a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine with an AWD setup and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The hybrid engine can also be added later.
