Tata Harrier EV is expected to launch in 2025. The EV will get V2L and V2V charging features as standard. It could be the first-ever vehicle to come with a twin-motor setup.
The homegrown automaker, Tata Motors presented its range of all the upcoming SUVs at the Auto Expo last month. Among these SUVs, the concept Harrier EV from 2023 was showcased in its production-spec. This electric SUV has been under development for three years now and is anticipated to launch this year. It will be based on the brands' Gen 2 acti.ev architecture.
Take a closer look at what this Tata Electric Harrier could offer.

The design of the electric Harrier resembles that of its ICE-powered model which is currently in the market. Some subtle EV-specific changes are done to the SUV including a refreshed grille and bumper.
The newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels are aero-optimized for enhanced efficiency, a new body-colored closed-off upper grille featuring horizontal slats, a new silver-colored lower grille featuring vertical, and the SUV features an EV badge on the front door and backside.
The interior layout of the SUV is largely similar to the ICE model, however, it does have a few changes. Features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a touch panel for AC functions, and a panoramic sunroof might boast the cabin.
Some other features would be an illuminated logo on the steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto ventilated front seats with 6-way power adjustment and a memory function on the driver side and a 4-way power adjustment on the passenger side.
The brand has also confirmed that the Harrier EV as standard will get vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging features.
The Harrier EV could be the first-ever vehicle to come with a twin-motor setup. It is based on the brand’s Gen 2 acti.ev architecture and the battery pack of the SUV has not been announced yet it is possible to have a torque of around 500 Nm.
The new EV version is expected to have an AWD system for a lot better performance than the on-sale model.
