The final quarter of 2025 is all set to be a blockbuster time for car enthusiasts. A wide range of new cars and SUVs are set to launch in the next couple of months. The iconic Sierra nameplate is all set to return next month, while India’s largest carmaker is getting ready to mark its entry into the EV space. Here are the top 5 upcoming hottest new cars to launch by December 2025 -
Expected Launch - Mid-November 2025

Tata Motors will introduce the long-awaited Sierra lifestyle SUV in mid-November 2025. The company will first launch the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) version of the SUV. In its new avatar, the Tata Sierra will have modern features but the legendary design DNA will remain intact.
The SUV will mark the debut of two new petrol engines, a new 1.5L 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated and a 1.5L 4-cylinder, turbo petrol. The diesel version will get the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo unit that also powers the Harrier and Safari. It will be a 4.3 meters long SUV and will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Mahindra Thar 5-door and others.
Launch Date - November 4, 2025

One of the top-sellers for Hyundai, the Venue SUV will enter the second generation on November 4, 2025. The SUV will receive a radical new design inspired by Hyundai’s “Sensuous Sportiness” language and a completely revamped interior. The cabin will have a larger, integrated dual-screen setup, and a significant tech infusion.
The sub-4 meter SUV will come with a panoramic sunroof, and a full suite of ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). The SUV won’t receive any mechanical changes, and will continue to be offered with a 1.5L NA petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine.
Expected Launch - December 2025
The electric version of the Sierra will join the ICE line-up before the end of this year, most probably in the first half of December 2025. The Tata Sierra EV will be based on the Acti.ev+ architecture and will come as a front-wheel-drive SUV. However, the company is also planning to introduce a dual-motor AWD version of the lifestyle SUV. The Sierra EV is expected to share the battery packs with the Harrier EV.
Expected Launch - December 2025
After introducing the updated Bolero Twins and Thar facelift, Mahindra is now ready to launch the XUV700 facelift with major design and interior changes. The 3-row SUV will receive all-new triple screen dashboard comprising a central infotainment unit, an instrument panel and a co-occupant entertainment screen.
The SUV is expected to receive an updated LEVEL 2+ ADAS tech, a front parking sensors, an auto-dimming IRVM and a six-seater version with captain seats in the second row. The Mahindra XUV700 facelift will continue to be offered with a 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.2L turbo diesel engines.
Expected Launch - December 2025

Maruti Suzuki will finally launch its first electric SUV, the e Vitara in India in December 2025. Production of the SUV has already been commenced at Suzuki’s Gujarat based plant for domestic and export markets. It is the first model based on an all-new scalable platform, which will also underpin the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV.
The electric SUV will be offered with two battery choices - 48.9kWh and 61.1kWh - both will come with a front-axle-mounted electric motor. The electric SUV will offer a range of up to 500km on a single charge.
