Mahindra has confirmed that the new Scorpio-N will come with the ADAS tech via a teaser on its social media platform. Ahead of the official launch, a new leaked internal document reveals some interesting details of the new Mahindra Scorpio N. The report claims that the SUV will receive a new Z8 T variant.

The Scorpio N top-end Z8 L variant will be equipped with a LEVEL-2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite that has 12 features. The ADAS features include Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) - Vehicles/Pedestrian/Bicycles, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Smart Pilot Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic-Sign Recognition, Speed Limit Assist, High Beam Assist and Front Vehicle Start Assist.
The adaptive cruise control, smart pilot assist and speed limit assist are only available with automatic version only. This variant also gets driver drowsiness detection along with all the features that are accessible in the lower-spec variants.
The new Z8 L trim will come in three variants - Z8 L, Z8 L Carbon and Z8 L six-seater. The Z8 L six-seater variant won’t receive the 4WD version, while the Z8 L and Z8 L 7-seater variants will be offered with all drivetrains.

This variant sits between the Z8 and the upcoming Z8 L variant. It is equipped with an electronic parking brake with auto hold function. The Scorpio-N Z8 T shares all the features offered in the Z8 variant. Its feature-list includes 7-inch MID, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, dual-zone climate control with rear vents, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger and others.
It will also get a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 12-speaker Sony sound system, ventilated front seats, and an auto-dimming IRVM (Internal Rear-View Mirror).
The Z8 T trim will also get a Carbon variant, and both versions will come in 7-seater option in both petrol and diesel avatars.
The new Scorpio N will be offered with two engine options - a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel. The petrol engine produces 203 PS and up to 380Nm of torque, and only comes in rear-wheel-drive layout. On the other hand, the turbo diesel engine produces up to 175 PS and a maximum torque of up to 400Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.The diesel version is available with both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive layout.
