4 Upcoming Mahindra SUVs Launching in 6 Months - New Bolero Neo, Thar Facelift

Mahindra is preparing to launch multiple new SUVs, including facelifts of existing models in the country in the next 1 year. In the next 6 months of 2025, Mahindra will give updates to its 4 popular SUVs. The Mahindra Scorpio-N will soon receive some changes in the form of new features and tech upgrades. Here is a list of top 4 upcoming Mahindra SUVs in the country before the end of this year - 


New Scorpio N with ADAS


The homegrown UV maker, Mahindra has recently teased the Scorpio-N SUV on its social media handles. It is confirmed that the new lifestyle SUV will come with LEVEL 2 ADAS tech, which is likely to be shared with the Thar Roxx and XUV700. The ADAS features include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and others. 


Adding to it, the Mahindra Scorpio-N is likely to get panoramic sunroof. The outgoing model has single-pane sunroof, which is expected to be offered on the lower variants. Other additions could include a larger touchscreen infotainment unit and a digital driver’s display. It will continue to be offered with the existing 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines. 


New Bolero Neo

Mahindra will introduce the new Bolero Neo facelift on August 15, 2025. The SUV will come with significant design and interior changes along with several new modern tech features. The new Bolero Neo will continue to be based on the ladder-frame chassis, but it will have all-new design. 


The Mahindra Bolero Neo facelift will come equipped with several new comfort and convenience features. It will come with six airbags as standard. The SUV could get a new steering wheel, a larger touchscreen infotainment unit, a new driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, height adjustable driver’s seat and LEVEL 2 ADAS tech. The outgoing Bolero Neo gets a 1.5L, 3-cylinder diesel engine with a manual gearbox. It is expected that the new Bolero Neo could receive a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that powers the Thar 3-door and XUV 3XO. Both manual and automatic gearbox choices could be on offer.


XUV700 facelift

The Mahindra XUV700 will receive a mid-life update, and testing of the new model has already been commenced. The spy images reveal that the new XUV700 will come with subtle design changes and an upgraded interior. It will receive a new front grille and an updated headlamp setup, and reworked tail-lights. 


The cabin will receive major update in the form of a new dashboard layout. It will come with a large connected screen incorporating a large touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital driver’s display and a co-occupant entertainment screen. The SUV could also receive ventilated seats in the second-row and Auto Park feature. The SUV will continue to be offered with the existing 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines. 


Thar facelift


Mahindra will launch the new Thar 3-door facelift before the end of this year. In fact, the SUV has been caught testing on the Indian roads. It will share the design with the Thar Roxx, featuring a more pronounced grille with vertical slats. The SUV will have projector headlamp setup with C-shaped DRLs, new front bumper, fog lamp housing and new turn indicators mounted on the front fenders. It is likely to get revised rear bumpers and new tail-lamp set-up, revised fenders and new alloys. 


The 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift will also receive significant changes inside the cabin. It is likely to feature a new free-standing 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV will have automatic climate control, Thar Roxx-like steering and a new full-digital TFT screen. The SUV could get ventilated front seats, a 360-degree surround view camera, and others. The SUV is likely to get the existing engines, including a 2.2L diesel, 2.0L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel.
