Renault is preparing to launch multiple new cars and SUVs in the Indian market. The long-awaited Duster nameplate will return in the first quarter of 2026, while the 7-seater derivative of the Duster (Boreal) will arrive by mid-2026. Before these two SUVs, Renault will launch the Triber facelift and Kiger facelift in the country.
Renault will launch the Triber facelift in India on 23rd July 2025. It won’t have a direct rival in our market; however, Nissan has also announced to launch a new MPV based on the Triber in 2025-26. The current Triber is priced at Rs 6 lakh, and the updated model is expected to be around Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 9 lakh.
The spy images suggest that the new Renault Triber facelift will come with a significantly revised front fascia. It is expected to receive a newly designed front grille and reworked headlamps with new LED daytime running lamps. The MPV will have a more pronounced bumper that will house a larger central air dam and new fog lamp housing.
The profile won’t see major changes, except for the new set of alloys. The rear will have limited changes in the form of redesigned tail-lights, and new bumper.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Renault Triber facelift will have a revised dashboard layout with new trims. The MPV is likely to get new upholstery for seats and door trims, a bigger touchscreen infotainment unit, and more features.
The Renault Triber facelift is likely to be powered by the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 72hp and 96Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission).
It was speculated that the Triber facelift will receive a new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which currently powers the Kiger and Nissan Magnite. However, reports suggest that the Triber facelift will continue to be offered in a single NA petrol engine.
