At the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, multiple automakers showcased flex-fuel-powered vehicles. Among these automakers, Toyota was one with the showcase of 2 models which are Innova Hycross and Corolla. These vehicles were first showcased in India before this. Let's take a deep look into what Toyota's Flex-Fuel vehicle offers.

This version of the Innova Hycross stays the same with the design, the only addition is the Flex-Fuel stickers on the bonnet and the sides and a ‘powered by Ethanol’ sticker on the fuel lid.

The brand claims that there will be no change in the power output even though it is meant to run on a mix of 20 percent or more ethanol. The car is powered by a 2.0-litre, NA petrol engine delivering 143 bhp with 188Nm of torque and an electric motor.

The Corolla Altis flex-fuel hybrid was last showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo 2023, and now this year as well by Toyota. The car offers a familiar fascia with sleek LED headlamps by a chrome strip and a large bumper houses a rectangular grille and C-shaped inserts on both ends.

As for the powertrain of this hybrid, it comes with a 1.8-litre petrol engine that delivers 100.60 bhp and 142 Nm of torque. The car is said to be powered by a 73 bhp electric motor, which has a max torque of 163Nm, and is fed by a 1.3kWh battery that’s continually charged on board.
