Jeep India has added another SUV to its catalogue. The Meridian has been finally launched at an introductory price of Rs 29.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
After 4.5 months of initially revealing it and receiving over 67,000 inquiries, Jeep India has launched its much-awaited 7-seater SUV, the Meridian in India. The price range for the four-wheeler starts at Rs 29.9 lakh (ex-showroom) and extends to Rs 36.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the vehicle will start from the first week of June. Jeep Meridian Variant Wise Pricing:
The Jeep Meridian is offered in only two variants, Limited and Limited (O). The Limited will be the entry-level trim, while the Limited (O) will be the top-of-the-line offering. Here is the variant wise price list of the SUV for your reference:
Jeep Meridian Powertrain Options:
The 7-seater SUV will be offered only in a 2.0-litre engine unit that is good for 168bhp and comes mated to a manual and two automatic gearboxes. The automatic gearboxes on offer are a 6-speed unit on the FWD variant and a 9-speed unit on the AWD trim.
Jeep Meridian Capabilities:
Staying true to its Jeep name, the Meridian comes equipped with advanced independent suspension and Selec-Terrain all-wheel-drive system with three modes. This system allows the vehicle to overcome treacherous off-road conditions with ease. In addition, the independent suspension of the car allows for a smooth ride on both city roads and out on the highway.
Jeep Meridian Colour Options:
The company is offering the SUV in five colours: the new Velvet Red and Techno Green. While the standard paint jobs include Grigio Magnesio, Pearl White, and Brilliant Black.
