Stellantis is gearing up to introduce Leapmotor — a fast-growing Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand — to the Indian market. The move marks Stellantis’s deeper push into the country’s expanding EV space, where it currently operates through two brands: Jeep and Citroen.
With the addition of Leapmotor, Stellantis aims to target both the mass and premium segments, going head-to-head with brands like Tata Motors, Mahindra, and BYD.
While the launch of Leapmotor in India is confirmed, the official timeline for the brand's operations is yet to be revealed.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Hangzhou, China, Leapmotor focuses solely on electric vehicles. It has already established a presence in countries like France, Germany, Israel, and the Netherlands, and now sets its sights on India.
