Mahindra Sales Breakup January 2026 - XUV 7XO Beats Harrier and Safari Combined

Mahindra has sold a total of 63,510 SUVs in the month of January 2026 compared to 50,659 units in the same mont last year, reporting a year-on-year sales growth of 25 percent. We have the model-wise sales breakup for the month of January 2026, and the Scorpio was the best-seller for the homegrown automaker. The newly launched XUV 7XO has also posted excellent sales numbers, helping the brand to achieve 3rd position in the list of top 10 car makers in India.

Mahindra has sold 15,542 units of the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic combined in January 2026 as against 15,442 units in the same month last year, reporting a marginal growth of 1 percent. 

The company has dispatched 11,841 units of the old and popular Bolero to dealerships last month compared to 8,682 units in January 2025. Despite being the oldest model on sale in our market, the Bolero enjoys an unprecedented popularity among rural and semi-urban Indian buyers. The SUV reported an impressive YoY sales growth of 36 percent. 

The big news is that the newly launched Mahindra XUV 7XO has reported an impressive sales numbers of 10,133 units in January 2026. The commendable thing is that the company is currently selling only the top-end AX7, AX7 Tech and AX7 L trims, which are priced over Rs 20 lakh. The combined sales of Tata Harrier and Safari in the month of January 2026 stands at 6,086 units.

The Thar and Thar Roxx combined sales in January 2026 stands at 13,418 units, which is again 78 percent higher compared to the 7557 units in the same month last year. Mahindra sold 8,845 units of the XUV 3XO and 146 units of the XUV 3XO EV/XUV400. 

The brand’s born EVs, including the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S have also posted positive sales growth. The company sold 1028 units of the BE 6 and 1945 units of the XEV 9e in January 2026. The newly launched XEV 9S posted a total sales of 612 units.
