MG Motor India has just released a new teaser of the upcoming Gloster special edition. Like the Tata Motors Dark Edition, the new MG Gloster Black Storm will be the manufacturer's take at offering an all-black version of its flagship SUV.
MG Motors already offers the new Gloster with a black colour option. The new Black Storm Edition will likely replace the chrome accents on the grille, windowline, front and rear bumpers with blacked-out elements. The silver alloy wheels will also be switched for all-black units.
Moving inside, the Gloster currently gets a black and tan brown dual-tone interior theme. But the Black Storm Edition will feature a full-black theme instead.

As the new version is a minor cosmetic revision, we can expect the Gloster Black Storm to continue with the same interior equipment. Key highlights include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, powered and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging, 12-speaker audio setup and more.
In terms of safety, the four-wheeler will continue to come provided with a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system and ADAS features like front collision warning, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
Powering the MG Gloster Storm Edition will be the same 2.0-litre turbo diesel that is rated for a maximum power output of 213 bhp and peak torque of 479 Nm. This system comes mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The Gloster directly rivals the Toyota Fortuner in the Indian market.
