Maruti Suzuki is stepping into the future with its latest release, the Victoris SUV, which becomes the brand’s first model to feature Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The excitement doesn’t stop there - the Grand Vitara and Fronx facelifts are expected to follow suit, bringing ADAS to even more Maruti models.
But first, let’s take a look at what the Victoris brings to the table, including its expected price reveal and the benefits of the new hybrid technology.
The new Victoris is a mid-sized SUV that marks a major milestone for Maruti Suzuki, being the first SUV to feature ADAS technology. This feature-packed SUV is set to improve driving with driver assistance tools like lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking.
As for the Maruti Victoris price, the SUV is expected to be priced competitively, offering great value for a tech-loaded vehicle. While the official price reveal is still pending, industry experts are anticipating a price range that could start from around Rs 12-14 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes Victoris a tough competitor in its segment, thanks to its mix of technology and comfort.

One of the most anticipated models from Maruti Suzuki is the Fronx facelift, set for a 2025 launch. The Fronx facelift is expected to feature a major update, including a new hybrid engine and improved technology, making it a standout in the compact SUV segment.
With the introduction of a hybrid powertrain, the Fronx facelift will likely feature a 1.2L, 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine paired with an electric motor, improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. This hybrid system, which also powers the upcoming Maruti Baleno and Swift, is set to debut in the Fronx facelift by 2025.
Fuel efficiency is one of the key highlights of the upcoming Maruti Fronx Hybrid. Currently, the Fronx offers respectable mileage in its petrol and CNG variants - the petrol automatic Fronx delivers 22.89 kmpl, while the CNG version offers an impressive 28.51 km/kg.
However, the hybrid version promises even better fuel efficiency, potentially achieving over 30 kmpl. Under ideal conditions, the Fronx Hybrid could even exceed 35 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its class.
The hybrid system is designed to offer greater mileage without compromising on performance, making it a great option for those looking to save on fuel costs while contributing to a greener environment.
Maruti Suzuki’s focus on hybrid technology doesn’t end with the Fronx hybrid. The company is pushing forward with plans to launch hybrid versions of several best-sellers, including the Brezza, Swift, Baleno, and Dzire. This move is part of Maruti’s strategy to make hybrid cars more affordable and accessible to the masses.
Additionally, the company is set to launch its first electric vehicle, the e-Vitara, in March 2025, marking a major step in expanding Maruti Suzuki’s range of eco-friendly vehicles.
The Fronx Hybrid will likely carry a price premium over the standard petrol variant, with an estimated price increase of Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh. This means the Fronx Hybrid could be priced between Rs 9.5 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
While the price will be slightly higher, the improved mileage and lower emissions make the Fronx Hybrid a great choice for those looking to reduce their fuel costs and environmental footprint in 2025.
