The new-gen Skoda Kodiaq carries forward an evolutionary design with a slightly more rounded profile. It retains its signature split LED headlamps with redesigned DRLs that now flow into the grille. The revised front bumper features functional air vents, while the bonnet gets new power bulges for a more aggressive look.
At the rear, the SUV flaunts new C-shaped tail-lamps connected by an LED light bar. Although the wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,791mm, the new Kodiaq is now 59mm longer overall.
Key Exterior Highlights:
New 18-inch alloy wheels (aero-optimized for L&K)
Contrasting D-pillar finish
Blacked-out design elements on Sportline
Sleek LED lighting signatures
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Kodiaq gets a complete overhaul. It now features a 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and a redesigned wing-style dashboard. Skoda has retained physical rotary controls for HVAC functions, offering a practical mix of tactile and touch inputs.
Key Interior Highlights:
New two-spoke steering wheel (three-spoke on Sportline)
Sliding and reclining second-row seats
Configurable ambient lighting
Panoramic sunroof
Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
13-speaker Canton audio system
Heated, ventilated, and massage front seats (L&K)
The new Kodiaq scores high on safety with a robust list of active and passive features. These include:
9 airbags
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
Hill start assist & hill descent control
Driver drowsiness monitor
360-degree camera with park assist
Multi-collision braking system
Powering the second-gen Skoda Kodiaq is a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that now produces 201 bhp (up by 13 bhp) and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG (DCT) gearbox, and all-wheel drive (AWD) comes as standard across variants.
ARAI-rated mileage: 14.86 kmpl
Transmission: 7-speed DSG
Drive Type: AWD
The 2025 Kodiaq sits in the premium 7-seater SUV segment, facing competition from Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and MG Gloster.
With a bold design update, feature-loaded interior, improved powertrain, and Skoda’s solid build quality, the new Kodiaq is positioned as a strong contender in the premium SUV space. While it is priced at a premium, the combination of luxury, space, and performance makes it the best choice for family SUV buyers.
