Tata Sales Breakup January 2026 - Tata Nexon, Punch in Huge Demand

Tata Motors has posted impressive sales numbers in the month of January 2026. The company dispatched a total of 70,222 vehicles in domestic market compared to 48075 units in January 2025, posting an impressive YoY sales growth of 46 percent. In fact, the brand’s MoM sales increased by 40.31 percent.

- The homegrown automaker sold 23,365 units of the Nexon, making it the country’s best-selling car in January 2026. The SUV reported a YoY sales growth of 51.75 percent, as it had recorded 15,397 sales in the same last year. 

- The combined sales of the Punch and Punch EV in the month of January 2026 stands at 19,257 units, which is 18.64 percent YoY sales growth. In the same month last year, Tata Motors had dispatched 16,231 units of the Punch. 

- Interestingly, the Tata Tiago nameplate posted strong sales of 8349 units in January 2026, registering a YoY sales growth of 22.65 percent. 

- The big news is that Tata Motors has also managed to dispatched 7003 units of the Tata Sierra to dealerships in January 2026. The SUV currently commands a waiting period of over 3-4 months. 

- Tata Motors sold 3711 units of the Harrier ICE and Harrier EV combined in January 2026 as against 1488 units in the same month last year. The Safari posted sales of 2375 units, registering a YoY sales growth of 53.42 percent. 

- The company has sold 3135 units of the Altroz, 1666 units of the Curvv & Curvv EV, and 1361 units of the Tigor last month.
