2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift with Turbo Petrol, Underbody CNG Arriving in July

Brezza facelift to get a turbo petrol engine with 6MT Launch expected in July 2026 To get an underbody CNG tank

The long-awaited Maruti Brezza facelift is expected to be launched in the Indian market in July 2026. The updated model will bring in several cosmetic design and interior changes along with a longer list of features. Moreover, the SUV will get a new powertrain along with a six-speed manual gearbox. Similar to the Victoris, the Brezza facelift will also get an underbody CNG tank.

New Turbo-Petrol Engine & Gearbox

The new Brezza is reportedly to get a new 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine paired with a new 6-speed manual gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 100PS and 147.6Nm of torque. With the new turbo petrol engine, the Brezza 1.0L will attract lower GST benefits.

Underbody CNG Tank

The updated model will retain the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 137Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Instead of a boot-fitted CNG kit, the new Brezza will get an underbody CNG tank. This arrangement will free up additional boot space.

Key Details

The new Brezza facelift will come with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. It is also likely to get a redesigned dashboard, new upholstery and trims. Maruti Suzuki could also introduce ADAS tech with the new Brezza. In terms of design, the SUV is likely to get a new front grille, revised fog lamp housing and front bumper, and a thick silver faux skid plate. The Brezza facelift could also get a newly designed alloy wheel.
