The latest Hyundai Creta has once again emerged as the highest-selling model in the Indian market for the second consecutive month. Hyundai sold a total of 17,016 units of the Crete in April 2025, reporting a year-on-year growth of 10.2 percent. In the January-April 2025 period, the Hyundai Crete maintained its leadership as India’s best-selling SUV with a cumulative sale of 69,914 units.
In fact, the Creta manages to beat the likes of the Maruti Dzire, Breeze, Tata Nexon and others to grab the top position. Maruti Suzuki sold 16,996 units of Dzire and 16,971 units of Breeze in April 2025. Mahindra dispatched 15,354 units of Scorpio, while Tata Motors sold 15,457 units of the Nexon last month.
