The lower bumper houses four retractable air vents that is claimed to improve aerodynamics. Moreover, the air intake uses to cool the electric motor and battery components. The electric SUV rides on 17-inch aerodynamically designed dual-tone alloys. The rear has LED connected tail-lights and a silver finished skid plate.

It also gets LEVEL-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, auto high beam and others.
It will be offered with two battery pack options - a 42kWh and 51.4kWh - offering an ARAI-certified range of 390km and 473km, respectively. The electric SUV comes with a single electric motor that is rated at 135PS with the 42kWh battery pack. The power output increases to 171PS using a 51.4kWh battery pack.
Using a DC fast charger, the Creta EV can be charged from 10-80 per cent in just 58 minutes. The battery takes 4 hours to reach 10 to 100 percent charge using an 11 kW AC charger.
Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 account for 56 percent and 44 percent of the total bookings, respectively. Deliveries for the new Born EVs will commence from mid-March 2025.
