Hyundai Ioniq 6 N debuts at Goodwood with 650hp and AWD Faster than Ioniq 5 N – 0-100kph in just 3.2 seconds Bold styling, enhanced dynamics, and motorsport-inspired tech
Hyundai has officially revealed the Ioniq 6 N, the brand’s second performance electric vehicle, at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Making its dynamic debut on the famous Goodwood Hillclimb, the Ioniq 6 N joins its sibling, the Ioniq 5 N, with a promise of sharper handling and quicker performance.

Both the Ioniq 6 N and the Ioniq 5 N share the same 650hp all-wheel-drive powertrain, featuring a 238hp front motor and a 412hp rear motor, delivering a combined torque of 770Nm. However, the Ioniq 6 N gets new motor magnets, a 7kWh coolant heater, and improved tuning that helps it sprint from 0 to 100kph in just 3.2 seconds, 0.2 seconds quicker than the Ioniq 5 N. Top speed has also increased to 257kph.

The Ioniq 6 N is built for performance, featuring:
- Electronically controlled dampers
- Limited-slip rear differential
- Lower centre of gravity than the Ioniq 5 N
- Wider track width by 60mm for better cornering stability
- 275-section Pirelli P Zero tyres on 20-inch alloys
It also retains all the exciting features seen on the 5 N, including N Drift Mode, N Grip Boost, and artificial engine sound and gearshift simulations for added thrill.

The exterior gets N-specific upgrades, such as:
- Lowered front nose with larger mesh grille
- Winglets for aerodynamic efficiency
- A massive rear spoiler for better downforce
- Wider wheel arches and sportier stance
Inside, the layout remains similar to the standard Ioniq 6, but with an all-black and grey theme for a sportier cabin vibe.

As of now, Hyundai has not confirmed plans to launch the Ioniq 6 N in India. While the brand showcased the pre-facelift Ioniq 6 at Auto Expo 2023, there has been no official announcement regarding its arrival in the Indian market.
