Recently, over 15 Mahindra test mules were spotted together in Chandigarh, giving us a sneak peek into what the company has in store. From the updated Scorpio N to the all-new Vision S and the facelifted Thar, Mahindra is gearing up to introduce some exciting new models and updates. Here’s a quick breakdown of what was seen.

The Vision S is one of the most exciting new models Mahindra is working on. This sub-4m SUV could carry the Scorpio name, though that hasn’t been confirmed yet. It’s expected to come with features like LED lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and a larger infotainment screen. The interior is expected to get ventilated seats and a new steering wheel from the XUV7XO. Under the hood, the Vision S will likely be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine with rear-wheel drive. It's looking like a solid option in the small SUV segment.
Mahindra Scorpio N, which is already a favorite among Indian SUV lovers, is getting a facelift. While it still carries the same tough look, we can expect some upgrades. The test mule had temporary headlights and tail lights, but the final model will have better, production-ready lights. Inside, the 10.2-inch touchscreen is getting bigger, and features like ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof are also expected. These updates will bring a more modern feel to the Scorpio N, while keeping the rugged charm it’s known for.
The Thar facelift was also part of the convoy. While we saw some updates to the Thar in 2025, this new facelift will bring even more features to the table. Expect to see LED headlights, DRLs, and 19-inch alloy wheels from the Thar Roxx. These updates will help the Thar keep its reputation as one of India’s top off-road vehicles.
The Global Pik Up was another key vehicle spotted. This pickup truck comes in single-cab and double-cab versions, and it shares many elements with the Scorpio N. While both versions were spied, India will likely get the double-cab version. It’s a practical vehicle built for tough jobs, and it will compete in the growing pickup truck market.
The Scorpio Classic Pik Up is also on the radar. This vehicle is already available in markets like Australia, and Mahindra could be bringing it to India as an entry-level pickup truck. Built on the Scorpio N platform, this would be a more affordable option for those who want a tough, reliable truck without breaking the bank.

Also spotted were familiar vehicles like the XUV7XO, Bolero, Bolero Neo, and Veero CV. These vehicles have either already launched or are being tested for further updates. The XUV7XO and Bolero Neo are already available in India, while the Veero CV is a commercial vehicle Mahindra has been working on. These could be in the convoy for fine-tuning or for some last-minute changes.
The convoy shows that Mahindra is preparing for a busy future with both updated models and new vehicles. From the facelifted Scorpio N to the Vision S and Global Pik Up, Mahindra’s lineup is expanding, and it looks like there’s something for everyone, whether you’re into rugged off-roaders like the Thar or you need a reliable workhorse like the Scorpio Pik Up.
