The homegrown UV maker, Mahindra will launch the facelifted XUV700 SUV in the country in 2026. The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will receive design changes and an upgraded interior; however, the engine options remain the same. First launched in 2021, the XUV700 has been one of the top-selling SUVs in its segment. 


Mahindra XUV700 Facelift 


Codenamed W616, the new XUV700 facelift will receive significant design changes. The styling updates will be shared with the brand's latest electric SUVs including the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e. Rumoured to be called the Mahindra XUV 7XO, the XUV700 facelift is likely to receive sharper front design with connected LED headlamp setup and an updated grille design. Similarly, the cabin of the Mahindra XUV700 facelift is likely to receive changes inline with the XEV 9e and the upcoming XEV 7e. It could get a triple screen setup comprising a larger touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument console and a co-passenger display. The XUV700 facelift is expected to receive front and rear parking sensors, and an immersive Sony Sound system.


No changes under the hood


The 3-row SUV will most likely to get the same engine options including a 2.0L turbocharged mStallion petrol and a 2.2L mHawk turbocharged diesel. While the former is good for 200PS and 380Nm of torque, the oil burner offers two states of tune - 152bhp/360Nm and 182bhp/450Nm, respectively. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
