Rumoured to be the Mahindra XUV 7XO, the new XUV700 facelift is scheduled to be launched in the country in 2026. The updated model is likely to come with design and interior changes with inspiration from the XEV 9e and the upcoming XEV 7e. It is expected to get a triple screen setup comprising a larger touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument console and a passenger display. Other additions could include front and rear parking sensors, and an immersive Sony sound system.
The SUV is available with two engine options - a 200PS, 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.2L mHawk turbo diesel. The oil burner offers two states of tune - 152bhp/360Nm and 182bhp/450Nm, respectively. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
Mahindra will launch the updated Thar 3-door in 2026 with significant changes. It is expected to share features with the new Thar Roxx. The Thar facelift could get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Other features could include ventilated front seats and wireless phone charger. The SUV is also likely to receive subtle design changes in-line with the latest Mahindra XUV700.

Mahindra will introduce the all-new feature-loaded and modern Bolero SUV in the country in 2026. It will be based on the new front-wheel-drive platform, which is also the first for the Bolero nameplate. Both sub-4 meter and long wheelbase versions of the SUV will be on sale in the Indian market. It is likely to come with more modern features such as touchscreen infotainment unit, six airbags, etc. The next-gen Bolero is likely to feature a 1.5L turbo diesel engine along with a 2.2L turbo diesel engine. A 2.0L turbo petrol engine is also expected to be on offer.
