JSW MG Motor India has registered a total sales of 4002 passenger vehicles in the month of February 2025. Interestingly, MG Motor is quickly turning into an EV brand which is evident from the rising demand for its electric cars including the new Windsor EV. The brand's electric vehicle lineup contributed 78% of its total sales during the February month.
The above figures clearly reveals that the MG EVs are well accepted among electric car buyers in India. Another interesting observation is that JSW MG Motor India had retailed 4956 vehicles to customers in February 2025.
MG Motor India's latest electric car, the Windsor EV has been receiving an excellent response from buyers. In fact, the EV has recently achieved production milestone of 15,000 units which indicates towards its growing popularity among EV buyers.
MG has also revealed that the "production at Halol facility temporarily reduced due to necessary facility modifications undertaken for the introduction of new products and Windsor production stabilisation."
JSW MG Motor India is gearing up for the launch of the higher-spec Windsor EV, which will come with a bigger battery pack. Likely to offer a range of over 400km, the MG Windsor EV is expected to get a 50.3kWh battery pack. It is most likely to be launched by April 2025. Adding to it, the company is gearing up to expand its product portfolio in the coming months with the launch of MG Cyberster and MG M9, under its luxury brand channel – MG Select.
