New Skoda Peaq EV – 7 Seats, 600 km Range & More

Skoda Peaq EV SUV will make its global debut on June 23. The electric SUV will offer six- and seven-seat layouts. Driving range is expected to be between 460 km and 600 km.

Skoda is all set to unveil its new flagship electric SUV, the Peaq, on June 23. Ahead of its global debut, the company has released the first sketches of the production-ready model, offering a closer look at its design and key features.

The upcoming Peaq will be Skoda's largest electric SUV yet and will also be the first SUV from the brand not to start with the letter "K". With three rows of seating, a claimed range of up to 600 km, and a premium feature list, the Peaq is expected to play an important role in Skoda's future EV plans.

Modern Design With Concept-Car Styling

The latest sketches show that the production version stays largely faithful to the concept model showcased earlier.

At the front, the SUV features Skoda's illuminated grille, slim lighting elements, and a bold SUV stance. Large alloy wheels, clean body lines, and a long rear section give it a strong road presence.

The rear gets distinctive T-shaped LED taillamps, while flush door handles and aerodynamic wheels help improve efficiency. Overall, the design looks modern while maintaining the practicality expected from a family SUV.

Spacious Three-Row Cabin

Skoda has also teased parts of the interior, which appears to take inspiration from the latest Kodiaq. The dashboard design looks clean and modern, with a large touchscreen and digital displays expected to be part of the package.

The Peaq will be offered in both six-seat and seven-seat configurations, making it suitable for larger families and long-distance travel.

Big Dimensions, Big Space

Official details reveal that the Peaq measures 4.9 metres in length and has a wheelbase of 2.95 metres. These dimensions make it one of the largest vehicles in Skoda's global lineup.

The long wheelbase should translate into generous cabin space across all three rows, while the large rear overhang is expected to provide ample luggage capacity.

Up to 600 km Driving Range

One of the biggest highlights of the Peaq is its expected driving range. Skoda is likely to offer multiple battery pack options, with claimed range figures ranging from 460 km to 600 km depending on the variant.

These figures would place the SUV among the longer-range electric vehicles in its segment and make it suitable for both city use and highway journeys.

Sportline Variant Confirmed

Skoda has already confirmed that the Peaq will be offered in a Sportline version alongside the standard model.

The Sportline trim is expected to get sportier styling elements, unique alloy wheels, and cosmetic enhancements to give it a more dynamic appearance.

Could It Come to India?

While Skoda has not confirmed an India launch, the Peaq could play a key role in the brand's long-term electric vehicle strategy.

If introduced here, it would serve as a flagship EV, much like the Kodiaq does in Skoda's current SUV range. It could also help prepare the ground for more affordable locally-produced electric SUVs in the future, including a Kushaq-sized EV that is expected later in the decade.

Debut on June 23

With its official unveiling just days away, the Skoda Peaq is shaping up to be one of the brand's most important electric vehicles. A spacious three-row cabin, premium features, and up to 600 km of claimed range could make it a strong contender in the growing global EV SUV market.
