Skoda Peaq could arrive in India after global debut Offers up to 600km range with dual battery options Flagship EV with premium features and 7-seat option
Skoda is getting ready to introduce a new flagship electric SUV called the Peaq. Earlier known as the production version of the Vision 7S concept, this upcoming model will sit at the top of the brand’s EV lineup, above the Skoda Enyaq and Skoda Elroq.
The global debut of the Skoda Peaq is expected sometime in 2026, and there are strong chances that India could also be part of its future plans.
While Skoda has not officially confirmed the India launch, there are clear hints. The brand showcased the Vision 7S concept at the Auto Expo 2025, which indicates interest in bringing a large electric SUV to the Indian market.
If launched, the Peaq could become one of Skoda’s most premium EV offerings in India, targeting buyers looking for a spacious and feature-loaded electric SUV.

The Skoda Peaq will be the largest model from the brand so far. It is longer and has a bigger wheelbase than even the Skoda Kodiaq, which already sits as a premium SUV in Skoda’s lineup.
This larger size will translate into more cabin space and practicality. The Peaq will be offered in both 5-seater and 7-seater layouts, making it suitable for families as well.
One of the highlights of the Peaq will be its practicality. Skoda claims it will offer the biggest boot space ever seen in a Skoda production model, especially in the 5-seater version.
There will also be a front storage area, or frunk, adding more convenience for everyday use. As expected, the SUV will feature several ‘Simply Clever’ touches that Skoda is known for.
The Skoda Peaq will come with two battery pack options. The smaller battery will offer a driving range of over 460km, while the larger battery is expected to deliver more than 600km on a single charge.
These figures make it suitable for both city use and long-distance travel. Fast charging support will also be available, allowing the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes.
The Peaq will be offered in multiple variants, including both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The base and mid variants will feature a single motor setup, while the top variant will get a dual-motor system.
Power output is expected to go up to nearly 300hp in the top-spec version. This variant will also be the quickest, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in under 7 seconds.

Skoda is expected to load the Peaq with modern features. It will get a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and an augmented reality head-up display.
There will also be a special Relax Package that adds features like massaging seats, adjustable footrests, ambient lighting, and wellness modes designed to improve comfort during long drives.
The Skoda Peaq will feature a bold and clean design. It is expected to get a closed-off front design with LED lighting, large alloy wheels, and a strong road presence.
Inside, the SUV will use sustainable and recycled materials, while still offering premium touches like leather upholstery in higher variants.
