Tata Punch facelift units arrive at dealerships before official launch. Updated design, new features and turbo-petrol engine incoming. Launch scheduled for January 13, 2026, with revised pricing expected.
With the Tata Punch facelift launch date now confirmed for January 13, test and display units have begun arriving at dealerships. The spotted model is a CNG variant, continuing with the twin-cylinder setup seen earlier. These early sightings give a clear idea of what you can expect from the 2026 Tata Punch facelift in terms of design and features.

Tata Motors has officially revealed six colour options for the facelifted Punch. These include Cyantafic Blue, Caramel Yellow, Bengal Rouge, Daytona Grey, Coorg Clouds Silver and Pristine White. The unit recently spotted at a dealership appears to be finished in Coorg Clouds, giving the SUV a clean and premium look.
Tata Punch facelift 2026 features visible on the outside include a refreshed front design with a sleeker closed grille and a redesigned lower bumper with skid plate elements. LED headlights similar to the Punch EV are now offered, along with cornering fog lamps. The SUV also gets new alloy wheels and updated LED tail lamps, with a connected light bar available on higher variants. No major changes to the body shape are expected.
Inside, the new Punch gets a redesigned twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. The dashboard layout feels more modern, thanks to new central AC vents and a touch-and-toggle climate control panel on top variants. Feature additions include a 360-degree camera system, a new digital instrument cluster and other tech upgrades. The presence of a radar unit hints at the possible introduction of ADAS on select variants.
One of the biggest updates on the Tata Punch facelift is the addition of the i-Turbo petrol engine. This motor is expected to produce around 108 PS and 140 Nm and will likely come with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine will continue with manual and AMT options. The CNG version will also be offered with the standard petrol engine.
Tata Punch facelift 2026 price is expected to start at around Rs 6 lakh, while higher variants with turbo-petrol and added features could go up to Rs 11-12 lakh. With updated styling, more features and a new engine option, the facelifted Punch is expected to strengthen Tata’s position in the micro-SUV segment.
