MG has unveiled an all-new Majestor SUV on the second day of the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. With the showcase of this new SUV, the brand has also confirmed to target the D+ Segment. This model is likely to rival with the Toyota Fortuner Legender, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and Nissan X-Trail.
Let's look at what the Majestor SUV has to offers.
The Majestor is longest, widest and tallest in its segmenT (since it belongs to the D+ Segment). It can be seen that there is a new large front grille with black finish and studded design elements.
Apart from that the Lighting setup is also new, with top-mounted sleek LED DRLs and vertically stacked LED headlamps on the sides. These enhancements made sure a distinctive, eye-catching profile for MG Majestor.
The Majestor has received updates on the inside with a new 12.3-inch free standing touchscreen infotainment system. It has customizable options, allowing users to choose background themes and other details as per their needs and preferences.
As for the safety, it comes with a comprehensive range of ADAS features, 6-airbags, hill hold control, electronic stability program, hill descent control and driver fatigue warning.
There will be 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine powering the Majestor SUV. It is said to produce 219 BHP with 479 Nm of torque and is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Power is sent to the rear wheels.
A 4×4 option will also be available with the Majestor with up to three lockable differentials (Front, center, and rear).
As for the pricing, it is expected to start At around Rs 40 lakh.
