Hyundai is working on Creta EV, which is expected to be launched in India in the first quarter of 2025. The prices for the models are yet to be released. However, it is speculated that Creta EV will begin around Rs. 19 lakh while the completely loaded ones would go to as high as Rs. 27 lakh.
It has been indicated that the Creta EV will feature an all-new revised look externally. It will conduct improvements on its front and rear bumpers and all-new grilles. The electric SUV will get an all-new aero wheels. All-LED exterior fittings shall also include roof rails. Also the LED light bars together with a panoramic sunroof have been added to the vehicles.
Inside the cabin, the electric Creta will feature a center console along with a three-spoke steering wheel. The company has assured two tone interior along with two 10.25-inch screens and an electronic parking brake. The car flaunts comfort features including a dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, paddle shifter and a 360-degree camera.
Hyundai hasn't announced much about the battery pack of the Creta EV. However, it is expected to be between 45-60 kWh. The Creta EV would give a full charge range of around 400 km to 500 km. It is also likely to be available with front-wheel drive just like the petrol and diesel variants of the Creta.
ABS with EBD and reverse parking sensors will be standard. Six airbags will probably be standard. Some of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that might include level 2 are hill start assist, vehicle stability control, and Tyre pressure monitoring system. Other higher end trims might include the adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and the automatic emergency brakes, with the blind-spot detection, too.
Hyundai Creta EV will have tough competition coming from other electric vehicles like MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, and the Maruti E Vitara that is in the pipe. With all these rivals, Hyundai aims to give the world a well-rounded electric SUV.
So when the new Hyundai Creta EV arrives in 2025, with a lot of design goodness, the promise of exciting features, and an equally excellent range to go. Things get pretty compelling for those buyers who consider a choice very valid and well-founded within the quickly growing market for electric cars.
