In November 2024, Mahindra's SUV lineup showed a mixed performance across various models, with some vehicles experiencing strong growth, while others faced notable declines. The XUV3XO, Thar, XUV700, Scorpio, and XUV400 marked an impressive growth between 4-64 percent while Bolero and Marazzon experienced a dip in sales by 25-82 percent.
Here is the detailed sales break-up of Mahindra SUVs of last month.
In November 2024, Mahindra had a sales record of 12,704 units for the Scorpio. Compared to the last year's report, the brand recorded sales of 12,185 units in November 2023. This marked a sales growth of 4 percent.
One of the successful Mahindra SUVs - the XUV700 recorded an impressive growth of 26 percent by selling 9,100 units last month while in November 2023, the brand sold only 7,221 units of Mahindra XUV700.
The XUV400 also played well! The all-electric vehicle was sold in 1000 units last month, compared to the 710 units in November 2023. This clearly jumps by 41 percent in terms of sales.
Mahindra's solid Thar witnessed a massive sales growth of 50 percent last month compared to last year's sales report during the same period. In November 2023, it sold 5,810 units of Thar while last month, 8,708 units were sold, making a difference of 2818 units.
Mahindra launched the facelift version of XUV300 with a new name - XUV3XO in April 2024. The combined sales of the vehicle stood at 7,656 in November 2024 while last year, it could record only 4,673 units of sales. This marks a clear sales increase by 64 percent which is the best compared to other Mahindra vehicles.
The Bolero has been in the race for a longer time in the market. However, it could not make a good sales number last month as it sold only 7,045 units last month. Compared to last years report, Bolero was sold in 9,333 units in November 2023. This shows a clear dip in sales by 25 percent. However, the manufacturer is bringing its new-gen Bolero in 2026. Based on the U171 platform, new Bolero will have a rugged-looking exterior, a tech-loaded interior, and boosted safety. This will surely recover the sales of Bolero SUV.
Mahindra had discontinued the Marazzo MPV due to various reasons such as outdated cabin, lack of updates, unavailability of automatic transmission, low boot space, and more. Moreover, the sales of Marazzo were very disappointing. Last month, Mahindra sold only 9 units while last year, the brand sold 49 units during the same period, marking the sales drop of 82 percent.
