Maruti Suzuki has unveiled a new Phantom Blaq Edition of the Grand Vitara SUV, giving it a bold and stylish all-black look. This special edition arrives as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa premium retail network and follows the growing trend of blacked-out SUVs from rival brands.
The Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition is available only with the Alpha+ strong hybrid variant. It features an exclusive Matte Black paint finish paired with blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels. All chrome elements have been replaced with black trims, except for the beltline and Maruti Suzuki emblems.
Inside, the Phantom Blaq Edition retains the all-black leatherette cabin with champagne gold accents seen in the standard strong hybrid variant. The feature list remains unchanged, offering:
- 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
- Panoramic sunroof
- 360-degree camera
- Heads-up display
- Wireless charger
- 4-speaker Clarion sound system with 2 tweeters
This edition comes with the 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 0.76kWh lithium-ion battery and front-mounted electric motor. The strong hybrid setup produces a combined 116hp and is mated to an e-CVT automatic gearbox.
With a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97 kmpl, the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition is not only stylish but also one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its segment.
Maruti Suzuki has not yet revealed the launch date or pricing for the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition. However, given its premium positioning and limited availability, it is expected to be priced slightly higher than the standard Alpha+ strong hybrid variant.
