2nd Gen Hyundai Venue spied with a new steering wheel and updated interior. Expect a larger infotainment screen and TFT instrument screen in the new Venue. Hyundai Venue 2nd Gen to retain existing powertrains, including a 1.0L Turbo Petrol.
Hyundai Venue, one of India’s popular sub-4m SUVs, is gearing up for its second generation. Launched in 2019 and given a major facelift in 2022, the Venue is now ready to receive significant upgrades, with the most notable being a new interior. The latest spy shots have confirmed that the steering wheel of the new-gen Hyundai Venue will feature a fresh design.

At first glance, the new steering wheel might seem like a small change, but it signals a major update in the Venue’s cabin. The current steering wheel design, which has been in use since the car’s launch, is being replaced with a new layout similar to the one seen in the Creta Electric.
The steering controls are placed in a squarish housing, giving the Venue a more modern look. However, unlike the Creta Electric, the Venue is expected to retain its conventional gear selector in the centre console.
The spy shots did not reveal much of the interior updates, but we can expect the new generation Venue to feature a larger infotainment screen, possibly a 10.2-inch unit, and a new 10.2-inch TFT instrument screen. These upgrades will bring a more premium feel to the SUV, especially with the panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats expected to be part of the package.
In terms of performance, the 2nd Gen Hyundai Venue is likely to retain its existing powertrains. It will likely offer the following engine options:
- 1.2L 4-cylinder NA Petrol Engine
- 1.5L 4-cylinder Turbo Diesel Engine
- 1.0L 3-cylinder Turbo Petrol Engine
Additionally, a sportier N Line version is expected to be available, offering the 1.0L Turbo Petrol Engine with more dynamic performance.
The second-generation Hyundai Venue is expected to be launched around the festive season, though no official confirmation has been made yet. This SUV will continue to compete with rivals like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300 in the crowded sub-4m SUV segment.
